Bristol Blue

Bristol Blue Glass has been made in Bristol for over 350 years.  The Bristol Blue Glass company formed in 1988 and started making Bristol Blue Glass using traditional centuries old techniques.  Each piece is freeblown and handmade in Bristol, making each item unique.  In today’s world, Bristol Blue Glass represents quality traditional manufacturing.   There are three variations:   -         Bristol Blue Glass – the traditional and collectable range produced from 24% lead crystal with cobalt added for colour.  Most pieces are signed “Bristol” on the base. -         Bristol Ruby Glass – A deep red coloured 24% lead crystal, coloured using gold.  Most pieces are signed “Bristol” on the base. -         Exmoor Cranberry Glass – Again coloured using gold, made in Porlock  Weir, Somerset by the makers of Bristol Blue Glass.  Each piece is signed “Exmoor”.
